4 Ingredient Puffy Sidewalk Paint
Running out of things to do with your kids this summer? I joke . . . kind of. Some days seem very full, and others I’m over here like, “My brain does’t work and I don’t know what to do with you little people.” Can I get an amen? Enter in 4 ingredient puffy sidewalk paint.
Would you believe me if I told you I purchased everything to make this puffy sidewalk paint last summer and it sat in my cupboard unused for a whole year? Truth. I have it sooooo together. 😉
Thankfully we busted it all out today and had a lot of fun. Bonus, it’s easy to make and even easier to clean up.
Also, who else can’t stand the feel of regular chalk? I love my kids so I push through, but I can’t wait to wash my hands after using it!
Puffy sidewalk paint:
- 2 cup flour
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup shaving cream
- food coloring
- plastic squirt bottles

How to make
In a bowl, mix together flour and water with a whisk until there are no clumps. Add the shaving cream. Fold together and separate into four or more smaller bowls. Add in food coloring as desired.
You can add the paint to the squirt bottles in a couple different ways. If you have a funnel (where are my canning girls out there?) that’s the easiest way. If you don’t, simply pour the finished paint into plastic gallon bags, cut the end, and squeeze into the bottles. Easy peasy!
That’s it! Now go outside and have fun. The kids started at one end of the driveway and worked their way over towards the other side. So many creative drawings! Also, it cleaned up completely off the concrete with a spray nozzle on the hose!
