Friends, it’s been rough out there. Truthfully it’s hard for me to leave my home lately. Things feel normal, safe, good, in our house. But when I leave, I see so many things that make my heart heavy. 2020 isn’t for the faint. And yet we cannot hide away. We need to show up for our community, for our friends, for our Spokane small businesses. Their are people behind those storefronts. Families. Bill to pay. Lives to live. And they need us, if we’re able, to lend a hand.
I’ve had the pleasure to get to know so many Spokane small businesses and the faces behind them over the past few years. And truly, what a gift that has been. Our business owners have such a passion for our city, for its citizens, and for sharing what they love with us. They aren’t just selling a product, they’re sharing pieces of themselves in each and every item they sell. They live and breath their businesses. So today, I wanted to highlight some of them and encourage you to be curious. To seek out local Spokane small businesses, to support your neighbors and keep the money made in Spokane circulating throughout the community.
