Saturday Snippets
Friends! I’m so excited to be starting this new series here on the blog! It’s going to be all my favorite things, wrapped up in one place for the week and I’m calling it Saturday snippets. Are you ready? Let get to all the fun goodness!
Saturday morning musings
First thoughts on this Saturday Snippets . . . I’m not ready for summer to end yet, but I’m also very excited for fall. I’m looking forward to crockpot meals, soups, crisp mornings, soft blankets, plaid shirts, and cozy slippers. This summer has been a scorcher, and while I’m squeezing out every last bit of it as possible, the structure and routine of fall is calling my name. By the end of summer, I’m feeling very scatterbrained, and it’s nice to get back into a schedule.
Last week on the blog I shared all about these amazing, hit-the-spot protein squares. I’ve been keeping them in my freezer and they’re the perfect grab-and-go snack. If you haven’t made them yet, whip some up for your busy weekend or a special guilt-free treat when you need a little something sweet.
I’ve still been getting a ton of questions about our transformed fireplace, so make sure to check out that post for all the answers. I’m giddy about having a mantel for all my fall decorating. It’s going to be so fun and cozy to play on my 100-year-old piece of barn wood!
NEW! Amazon Storefront
Most of you are well aware that Amazon and me are tight. It’s convenient, I don’t have to pay for shipping, and they have almost everything. With that being said, I was able to set up a storefront so it’s easy to shop my favorite items. I get asked a ton about links to certain items, and now it’s all organized and in one place! Check it out here.
Things I’m loving on the internet this week:
My sweet friend and mentor KariAnne shared her top favorite books she read over the summer, and I added pretty much all of them to my audible list. They look amazing and I’m always in search of another book to listen to while cleaning and doing house stuff.

I’m also swooning over these pretty back to school supplies from The Handmade Home
Half Baked Harvest made this cherry tomato pasta and it’s pretty much a need-to-cook dinner now. It’s on the menu for next week!
Favorite Items from this past week
Gold accessories have my heart right now and getting ready for vegas, it was pretty much all I packed. Victoria Emerson has been my go-to spot for most of my jewelry lately, but I also purchase a few necklaces from Shein that were under $2 each, so if I lose them in Vegas I don’t feel bad.

How was that for a little Saturday Snippets to get your day started? I’m looking forward to sharing these with you over coffee every weekend. Stay tuned for next week, it’s going to be a fun one!
