Why You’ll Love These Sliders
- A creative way to use Thanksgiving leftovers – These leftover turkey cranberry sliders are a great way to refresh your Thanksgiving turkey leftovers and turn them into something new and exciting.
- Versatile and crowd-pleasing – Perfect for any occasion, these sliders are ideal for a game day recipe, weeknight dinner, or holiday leftovers snack.
- Cheesy, savory combo – The layers of turkey, provolone cheese (or cheddar cheese), and sweet cranberry sauce combine to create the best turkey cranberry sliders that everyone will love.

After working hard on your Thanksgiving turkey (I use this YUMMY tried and true recipe) you want to make sure to use up the whole thing!

Also, I’m big into cranberries during the holidays. I love incorporating them into lots of recipes. These include my viral Starbucks Copycat Cranberry Bliss bars, these icebox cranberry orange cookies, and this cranberry pound cake.

Do These Sliders Store Well?
Not really. These sliders are best enjoyed fresh. The leftover cranberry sauce tends to make the buns soggy if stored for too long. If you have any leftover sliders, store them in an airtight container in the fridge and consume them within a day. Reheating in the oven will help bring back some of that crispy texture.

Flavor Variations:
If you’re looking for some variety, here are a few great ways to switch things up:

- Ham and Cheddar Sliders: Swap the turkey for leftover ham and the Swiss cheese for cheddar cheese. Add a pinch of brown sugar to the poppy seed butter for a sweet-and-savory combo.
- Turkey and Havarti Sliders: Replace Swiss cheese with creamy Havarti cheese for a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth version. Add thinly sliced pickles for a tangy contrast!
- Spicy Turkey Sliders: For those who like heat, use provolone cheese and add jalapeños or red pepper flakes to the layers of turkey. Serve with a drizzle of hot sauce to really kick it up a notch!
- Turkey and Brie Sliders: For a more gourmet touch, swap Swiss cheese for Brie cheese. The combination of tart cranberry sauce and Brie is irresistible.
- BBQ Turkey Sliders: Replace the cranberry sauce with BBQ sauce and pair it with cheddar cheese for a smoky, tangy flavor. This version is a real hit for game day!
Have you made bone broth before?
Utilize every last part of the turkey carcass by making bone broth! It’s extremely healthy, with immune boosting properties as well help improving gut health. After all that pie, it might be nice to sip some bone broth and reset your system a bit.
