I need to know, have you ever heard of something called a “Wegift”? It’s the newest trend and guys, I am ALL about it!
A wegift is the act of purchasing a gift with the intent of benefiting from it yourself. Let’s be honest, we’ve been doing this long before there was a name for it.
Americans LOVE wegifting!
A recent survey done by Keurig found that 74% of Americans admitted to purchasing gifts they hoped to benefit from. I feel like I just said that. . . 😉
Let me make wegifting easy for you, Keurig has the market nailed for the perfect wegift!
I’ve been compensated by Keurig for sharing my view; all opinions remain 100% my own
The Wegift of coffee
The Keurig K-Duo Plus is the best gift for that special someone on your list. Someone who preferably lives with you or who you visit often. (I’m a helper, what can I say.)
The Perfect gift for the HOSTESS in your life (even if thats you! Especially if that’s you.)
If you’ve been around here for any longer than a minute, you know I have a heart to host. Hosting is my love language.
I want to welcome people into my home, give them a cozy spot to sit, and a listening ear. Part of hosting is giving your visitor a warm cup of coffee or tea. It’s pretty much a requirement. Something warm in the hands instantly helps put a person at ease, and gives those somewhat awkward hands something to hold onto.
Use the Carafe for a crowd
One thing I love the most about this Keurig is it’s still able to brew a batch of coffee with the Carafe feature. Essentially this is a regular, large pot of coffee you can brew for a crowd. I use it for when I know we’re expecting lots of guests, as it makes it simple to have a large amount of coffee at the ready.
Special Features of the Keurig K-Duo Plus
The special features I love most are:
- Brew A Cup or A Carafe: Use both ground coffee and K-Cup pods.
- Strong Brew Option: Brew a stronger, more intense single cup and carafe. (This is my afternoon choice always!)
- Multiple Brew Sizes: Brew a 6, 8 ,10, or 12-cup carafe and a 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz. single cup.
- Multi-Position 60 oz. Water Reservoir: Can be positioned to the right, left, or along the back of the brewer to optimize counter space!
- Programmable Carafe Auto-Brew: Program your coffee maker to automatically brew a carafe up to 24 hours in advance.
- Travel Mug Friendly: Accommodates travel mugs up to 8″ tall
- 12-Cup Thermal Carafe keeps your coffee warm for up to 2 hours. (But I feel like it’s longer 🙂 )
I didn’t want to do just pods for coffee
Honestly until the K-Duo Plus came along I had no intention of getting a coffee maker that did pods. The thought of only having access to pod coffee wasn’t appealing to me. See, in our home, we go though a lot of coffee. And when I say a lot. . . well . . . I have a coffee tattoo, it’s my one and only. So if that doesn’t tell you something . . .
When I found out that I could still have a regular pot of coffee and save the pods for my afternoon pick me ups I was ready to commit!
It the mornings I like to keep it simple. Give me my black coffee with a splash of cream and I’m happy. Nothing fancy. I want a bold cup to wake me up and get the creative juices flowing.
In the afternoon though, the Pods have been so fun to play around with. All the flavors and varieties keep my afternoon coffee interesting. Plus I’ve notice my trips to grab coffee from a local stand are way down as well, which saves me a boatload of money. Because like I mentioned before . . . I have a caffeine problem. 😉
