Easy Classic Affogato Recipe

This affogato dessert is a creamy scoop of ice cream “drowned” in fresh espresso. One of my favorite Italian desserts and the perfect after-dinner drink for coffee lovers.

- 1 scoop high-quality vanilla bean ice cream or creamy vanilla gelato
- 1 shot fresh espresso
Place a scoop of ice cream into a chilled serving cup or small bowl.
Brew a single shot of espresso and pour it directly over the top of the ice cream.
Garnish with optional toppings like shaved chocolate or a pinch of sea salt, and serve immediately.
