DIY Plant Markers

Equipment
- Drill and screws or hammer and nails
- Wood saw (or ask Home Depot to cut the 1" x 4" x 4' boards into 10" sections
Ingredients
- Wood burning tool
- Grade Stakes-Pine 12-Pack (Common: 1 in. x 2 in. x 1-½ ft.; Actual: .562 in. x 1.375 in. x 17.5 in.)
- 1 in. x 4 in. x 4 ft. Doug Fir Above Ground Pressure-Treated Lumber
- Exterior wood sealer
Instructions
- Cut the boards into 10" sections, as many as needed for plant markers
- Nail or screw boards onto stakes
- Burn plant names into boards
- Seal the boards with a outdoor wood stain
