Instructions
Prepare the Tape
Cut small pieces of packing tape and secure them to the side of your table for easy access. Form the Tree Shape
Starting at one corner of the poster board, roll it into a cone shape. Keep the top tight and allow the bottom to be larger. Ensure the top has a small opening to tuck in extra material. Once you achieve the desired size, hold the cone with one hand and secure the top with packing tape. Cut away any extra poster board and tape the cone down the side. Trim the bottom of the cone to ensure it stands straight. Cover with Fabric
Measure the amount of fabric needed by rolling the cone over the fabric, starting at one corner. Leave an extra half-inch along the side and about an inch at the top and bottom. Tuck the top of the fabric into the opening using a small stick or similar tool. Glue the fabric to the inside lip of the cone at the bottom to secure it. Decorate
Use your imagination to decorate the cones with different materials like feathers, glitter, or various fabrics. Consider making sets of three in different sizes for a visually appealing arrangement. Tips:
Try using different fabric colors and patterns for a diverse and eye-catching display. Making three sets of three cones is ideal for styling around your home. Kid-Friendly Craft:
Prepare the cones ahead of time and let kids decorate their own trees with glue sticks, sparkles, sequins, and other fun materials.
