Harlem Globetrotters Visit Spokane WA January 24th, 2022
Friends, winter can get a little boring in Spokane. We’re not a huge winter sports family, so besides the kids sledding in the yard and me, enjoying the snowfall warmly indoors with a hot cup of coffee in my hands, we don’t have much use for it. Oh sure, it’s beautiful and all, but like clockwork, the day after Christmas each year my kids ask when spring is. Because of this, we try to find fun events to look forward to in the cold winter months. When we heard the Harlem Globetrotters were coming to Spokane, we were elated!

My kids love playing basketball in the backyard, but with over a foot of snow covering the concrete at this moment, that’s not really possible. So, what better way to get out the wiggles and energy than to have them watch the amazing players from the Harlem Globetrotters show off their moves.

The World-Famous Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their newly reimagined Spread Game tour to Spokane Arena in Spokane, WA on Monday, January 24.
The Spread Game Tour is a basketball event like no other. Ankle-breaking moves, jaw-dropping swag, and rim-rattling dunks are only some of the thrill you can expect from this fully modernized show. Part streetball from the players who defined it, part interactive family entertainment, the new tour will show off the best of the Globetrotters in a dazzling exhibition of talent and game.

* Dunk Contest – The Globetrotters always rattle the rim – even breaking a backboard or two! All-new for the Spread Game Tour, the stars go head to head with the Generals in a dunk contest. Which dunk will be your favorite?
* Laugh-Out-Loud Funny Characters – We teamed up with award-winning experts from Broadway and renowned comedians to bring you all-new on-court characters who bring the funny to every game, including the Globetrotters’ Day 1 fan.

We are so excited to head to the show and get inspired by these amazing players. I can already guarantee that the minute we get home the kids will be trying to recreate moves they saw from the game. And that will keep them busy for a few weeks, getting us ever closer to spring and the ability to be able to play more easily outside again!
