Okay Guys this is my second Ellie box and I am in LOVE!!!! Again!
My opinion of the high quality Ellie Activewear are 100% my own. I would never recommend something I don’t believe in, or have never used. This post contains affiliate links. For more information, see my disclosures here.
What is Ellie?
You can read more in depth about it in my first review here, but essentially Ellie is a monthly subscription box that sends you five items a month, a full outfit and accessories, for $49.95. Each month they try and stick to a theme and color combo, which I absolutely love! They are also easy to skip or cancel. (Which I know from personal experience other companies are not!)
As I opened the pretty rose gold box, pushed back the tissue paper and saw the colors I’m pretty sure I let out an actual squeal of delight. The outfit was made for me! I know a lot of people who love to wear black. They think black is chic and classy, and it is! But me, I’m a gray person. Gray decor, gray paint, gray clothes, I simply love gray. So, when I saw gray I was immediately sold. And the fun color they paired it with? A creamy bright orangish pink. Yep, it was meant to be.
Same as last time, I wore this outfit for two weeks solid. All my sweat sessions were done in it, I even wore it to coffee with a friend. (It was clean, don’t be gross!) I told Travis it’s the perfect outfit to run errands in and still feel like you have yourself together. All us moms, we appreciate outfits that make us feel good without having to try hard. High five all you moms out there. I know you get it.
And this outfit came not only with two accessories like normal, but they slipped in a third. Some cute matching hair ties!
The attention to small, fun details like this is what really makes this company stand out to me. It’s as if it was made by a savvy woman who knows her stuff. I like her, whoever she is. To bad all my outfits can’t come shipped to me like this, with matching accessories. That would save so much time you have no idea. It’s actually a little pathetic how long I stand in front of my closet trying to figure out an outfit some days. Especially when I usually end up going with one of my standbys. But that’s another story for another time. . .
Ellie clothes and intense workouts:
I did several runs in this outfit, as well as at home workouts where there was a lot of jumping around. No movement, no adjustments needed, just like the last set. For this curvy girl that is high praise. Very rarely does a pair of workout pants not slip up or down while I run.
Pretty sure in a few short months I’ll be a walking billboard 24/7. It’ll be hard to force me to wear anything else. (I’m totally brownnosing here. No shame. And it’s true anyhow!) #ellielove
I found the bra to be comfortable as well as cute. I don’t often call sports bras comfy but this one pulled it off.
The pants were also cute along with their stay-put-tidness.
They had a useful hidden pocket for key, cash, cards and the like. Maybe the first pair had it as well? I don’t remember, I’ll have to check!
The next photos a tad blurry, but I couldn’t not show you the back. It’s a see-through mesh and simply adorable. So squint your eyes and pretend the photo is clear. 😉
Last but not least (I feel like a talk show host now) it came with a ab wheel and cooling towel.
My sister and I were playing around with the towel today and it’s actually pretty neat. You wet it down and then “snap it” to activate and it stays cool! It also holds twice its weight in water, or sweat if you’ve got that much. And if you do you might need to get yourself checked. . .
The ab wheel has been in use pretty often so I haven’t been able to test it much yet. Tyrion saw it and called it his “motorcycle”, and uses it to speed around my house. It’s really one of the most adorable things! When I did attempt to try it while he wasn’t looking, I realized wow, ab wheels aren’t messing around. Harder than I remembered.
I’m sure by now you’re drooling over having your own July box right?
